My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are so fortunate to have Malcolm here with us at Cedar Farm. He is such a sweet soul in a big ol' huggable body! Malcolm is such a "people" dog...he just loves to be close by - He's not needy but just really in tune with his person. He loves to snuggle and will lie right next to you watching the clouds go by or in front of the TV. He would do great in a family situation or with a couple that is active and has lots of friends and/or family around. He's great with other dogs and loves to play. Malcolm ended up at a high kill shelter having been found roaming around a trailer park. He's big and goofy and made himself at home in a couple of spots where he was not welcomed. I don't think they realized at the shelter what a treasure this boy is. We got him out just in the nick of time.
Malcolm is young and still has a bit of puppy energy and he's catching on quick and learning many new things. His leash walking skills have blossomed! He is now housebroken and crate trained. He learned sit in a day...so we know he's smart. He doesn't mind the cats...that's smart too!
Malcolm is one year old and weighs 61 lbs. He has been neutered and is up to date on his shots. Malcolm is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
