My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bacardi is a handsome gray tabby. He came to us with his mommy and four siblings known as the Liquor Litter. He is the biggest of the group and loves to play and wrestle with his brothers and sister. He also loves to climb and be up high. A nice cat tree would be perfect for him so he can observe his surroundings from up high. He is very affectionate with the humans in his foster home and likes to be petted. For a ready-made pair, won’t you consider adopting him along with one of his siblings? The kitten antics will keep you thoroughly entertained and you can ignore your tech devices while you watch the kitten show!

Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…they get to play and work off some of their energy and then snuggle with each other while you're not home. Check out our Pick A Pair page to see if one of Drambuie's siblings is available. (When young they also easily bond with other kittens not related.)

If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements.

You can meet Bacardi at his current foster home, Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Rd., 7 days a week during normal store hours. (www.wilmettepetcenter.com, 847-251-6750). Although he is so sweet you will want to take him home on the spot, you will need to submit an application.

Bacardi's estimated date of birth is 3/1/17, and his adoption fee of $140 includes: vet exam, feline leukemia/FIV test (mom tested - neg.), FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, routine deworming, microchip and neuter.
