Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Funny, playful and adorable, that’s Mimosa, a beautiful Calico. She is the only girl in the liquor litter, but she is no push-over. She can play and wrestle with her brothers and hold her own. She is super affectionate with the humans around her also. Whenever foster mom comes into the room, she is right there and demands to be petted. Won’t you consider adopting her along with one of her brothers? The kitten antics will keep you thoroughly entertained and you can ignore your tech devices while you watch the kitten show!
Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…they get to play and work off some of their energy and then snuggle with each other while you're not home. Check out our Pick A Pair page to see if one of Mimosa's siblings is available. (When young they also easily bond with other kittens not related.)
If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements.
Starting June 26th, you can meet Mimosa at her current foster home, Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Rd., 7 days a week during normal store hours. (www.wilmettepetcenter.com, 847-251-6750). Although she is so sweet you will want to take her home on the spot, you will need to submit an application.
Mimosa's estimated date of birth is 3/1/17, and her adoption fee of $140 includes: vet exam, feline leukemia/FIV test (Mom tested - neg.), FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, deworming, microchip and spay.
