Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Coffee! I am a 4-5 year old Mountain Cur and Lab mix. I came from Kentucky; therefore, nobody knows my backstory.
I have so many scars due to everything that I have been through in my short life. I think the scars scare people away because the scars appear to make me seem tough which is why I have been at the shelter for so long. I was pregnant when I arrived at Hopeful Tails and had a litter of 7 puppies! They all have been adopted and now I am waiting for my turn to live a happy life with my forever family!
With everything that has happened to me, I have a hard time trusting BUT once I warm up to you I will never leave your side. I like to cuddle, play in the backyard, and go on long walks. I love attention so much that once you stop petting me, I bark and "talk" to remind you that cuddling is more important than work and your computer. I also love attention so much that I do not like to share it with other dogs, I would prefer to be the only one.
I will love you forever and ever if you decide to open your loving home to me!
If you're interested in adopting, email hopefultailsadoptions@outlook.com. I will make your life complete!
Coffee's adoption fee is $300 which includes her spay, microchip implant, fecal exam, and shots up to date.
As we are a rescue all of our dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak to your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.
When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius from Joliet, Illinois, to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.
