DOB: March 2009 || BREED/COLORING: Shepherd mix; brown/black || SIZE: Manny weighs about 60lbs and is full grown || HISTORY: Manny and his brother were irresponsibly bred by a family with unaltered dogs. We stepped in and got their mom and dad fixed and took the pups to find them homes. || PERSONALITY: Manny is a nervous boy who really tends to bond with women more than men. Once he knows you, he is super sweet and loving and kissy - but he's not the best in public because he feels he needs to 'protect' his handler. || TRAINING: Manny will require some basic obedience to boost his confidence - as well as continued crate training to be 100% housebroken. || WOULD DO BEST: Manny needs a yard to run in that does not have street access (he will be very protective of the yard if he can see the street). He needs a dog-savvy handler that is willing to show him the ropes as well as rub his belly. || CATS/DOGS/KIDS: Manny is good with another dog if he is introduced properly. In his current foster home he is with a female pit mix and also gets along with the foster's own dogs. He is great with cats and would be okay with older children. || VET RECORD :All of our dogs are currently vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. || AVAILABILITY: This dog is available for adoption now and is being fostered or kenneled in the San Fernando Valley area. Please email us and we will send you an adoption application. Local adoptions only. || Visit our website: http://www.foreverhomepetrescue.org/ || Visit us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/foreverhome || Make a donation to help us continue to save lives: http://www.foreverhomepetrescue.org/donate.html
