Meet Beautiful Sonja! She was born around 3-13-2016 and is super sweet, loves to sit on laps, and will give you hugs when you pick her up. She is very friendly, affectionate and will make a wonderful pet. This is really one kitty you should meet. You will fall in love with her when you do! She has beautiful soulful eyes that will melt your heart. She is fabulous with other cats and dogs. She actually loves other dogs and cats. If you have other kitties, you will need a room for Sonja to introduce your resident kitty to her. With proper introductions we are sure your resident will love her. She is very easy going. Although she wouldn't like being crated or put in a tiny bathroom if that is the only option you have to keep kitties separated because she is so friendly and people drawn.
Sonja was pulled from a high intake shelter a April 1, 2017. When she arrived she surprised us by being pregnant. A month later she delivered 4 healthy babies Sonja has done a great job caring for her babies, but now it's her turn to be taken care of and loved by a family of her own.
To meet this sweet girl, an approved adoption application needs to be submitted and approved. You can find find the adoption application by going to our website at angelsonwheels.org, and clicking on the forms tab. We do not have a physical building so there are no viewing hours, thus the reason for the application needs to be submitted prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet with this adorable kitten. If you see this this post, she is available for adoption so there is no need to email us asking about availability. We update regularly
Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The adoption fee of $125.00 includes:
Spaying which is done
Microchip
Up-to-date on routine vaccination for FVRCP and a booster
Regular Deworming
Fecal Tested Negative
Tested for Felv which was negative
Tested for FIV, which was negative
Treated with revolution and repeated 2 weeks later
Rabies vaccination
She had xrays when she arrived to verify her pregnancy
She was hospitalized when her kittens were 2 weeks old for mastitis at which time they did bloodwork and additional xrays. She has fully recovered.
All bloodwork looked great
T4 was done and within limits
A free wellness exam to one of our partnering vets.
Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Wheaton Animal Hospital, Knoll Animal Hospital of Carol Stream, Countryside Animal Hospital, Springbrook Animal Care Center in Naperville, or Naperville Animal Hospital.
