My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milo is a 9 year old, 13 lb., male Silky Terrier and an owner surrender. His former family got a new puppy and Milo wasn’t adjusting well to having a young, energetic, puppy in the house. So his family decided it would be best for Milo to find a new family with a quieter home where he would be more comfortable during his senior years. As Milo starts this new chapter in his life, we are sure there is a very special and caring family waiting to welcome him into their lives!

Milo loves people and would be happy as an only dog, providing lots of love and companionship for some very lucky human(s). We also think he would do fine with other small, calm and respectful dogs. He is playful, loves walks, and is house trained. From what we’ve observed he seems to like children but we are recommending a home with children over the age of 10 because of his age and size. We also think he would do fine in a home with cats. Of course we would do a meet and greet to be sure!

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at
https://dogsunlimited.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application-for-dogs-unlimited-rescue/

All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.

THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.

Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email adopt@dogsunlimitedrescue.org

And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
