Meet Ember!

Ember is a gorgeous orange and white female kitty. She is young - about 10 months old and has gorgeous, big eyes.

Ember had a rough start - she was found outside by a good samaritan who called New Albany Pet Rescue to help find her a home. When we took her to the vet, it turned out that she had a hole in her diaphragm from an injury and she was pregnant. As the kittens were growing, they had pushed her organs through the hole up into her chest and she was slowly suffocating. Our vet did emergency surgery and saved her life.....she is now as good as new and is ready for a forever home.

Ember is very outgoing and friendly - she loves to play - but she really just want to be with you....and she purrs and purrs. She is a good eater and is very clean with her litter box. We have not introduced Ember to other dogs and cats, but we think based on her personality, that she would like them.
