Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Willie Nelson is a 3+ year old boy who came to HBHR as an owner surrender. His owner worked off shore frequently, so he was spending most of his time at a boarding kennel. He is looking for a family that has time to spend with this energetic boy. Mr. Nelson is 13+ inches tall and weighs a slender 22 pounds.
Mr. Nelson is house broken, crate trained and has great indoor manners. It is when he is outdoors that his true nature comes out. This little guy has springs built into his legs! He can really jump high and is an excellent climber, so needs supervision when outside in the yard. He will need a tall smooth fence. He can jump onto utility boxes to vault over a 6-foot fence and has been seen climbing up the struts in a corner of the wooden fence!
Mr. Nelson is very outgoing and loving. He gets along well with his foster pack of beagles and gives great kisses to his foster Mom. He is a sweet little guy but can not go to a home with a dog door. He would be a perfect beagle for an apartment but has the voice of a much bigger boy and he likes to use it! If you have a yard that is the beagle version of Alcatraz, then this boy is the one for you!
