We got both Mama (Female, about 8 yrs old) and Broccoli (Male, about 6 yrs old) about 5 years ago, after she had given birth to her first litter. Broccoli and she were a package deal because the previous caretakers wanted to keep her with at least one of her babies. They have been two peas-in-a-pod since the beginning. Both are very healthy and have many years ahead of them.
Mama is an attention-getting lover. She enjoys showing off in front of company and loves to cuddle up on your lap during down-time. She can be quite saucy when the wind blows the wrong way, and takes a while to warm up to strangers, but I have come to appreciate that she is selective with her love. Once she gets comfy with you, you won’t be able to get away. But if she is scared, boy she’ll let you know.
Broccoli is a sweet boy. He loves to cuddle under the bed covers and curl up next to you on the couch. He’s very chill and can be silly at times. We constantly laugh at how ridiculous he acts. He is affectionate and mellow around adults, but children and other pets make him nervous.
