My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brutus (lovingly called Boo Boo) and Pixie came to us as a result of the break up of their family. These 3 year old Pugs have never known a day of unhappiness. While many "pairs" of dogs that go into rescue are said by their owners to be "bonded" and shouldn't be split apart, we, as animal caretakers for many years, know that in most cases it's not true. Going into a new environment they will often ignore each other and and even get into scuffles when one gets more attention than the other. However, in this case, it's absolutely true. Boo Boo and Pixie are joined at the hip. You never see one without the other just a sniff away. They've been together since they were puppies though not from the same litter. They eat, sleep, and play as a loving couple. And they are as sweet with people and other dogs as they are with each other. It's a beautiful thing to see. Of course, we will absolutely not split them up. If you are looking for the perfect Pug family to bring into your life, Brutus and Pixie are it. Years of joy await the lucky adopters of this pair. Both are already microchipped and come with their own crates.

Brutus and Pixie are being fostered in Manlius, NY and their combined asking adoption fee is $450.

E-MAIL INQUIRIES WILL BE RESPONDED TO MUCH FASTER THAN TELEPHONE CALLS.

Please read about adopting from us on our home page by clicking on the link to the right of the furkid's picture.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
