My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PANDORA was hanging around a nearby residential street for three weeks before being picked up. She must have been somebody’s kitty – she had been spayed, and declawed, too. She is in good condition with clean fur and nice white teeth, so she wasn’t out there for very long. She has been advertised on our Facebook page and on Milford Lost Pets but nobody so far has recognized her. . We thought surely somebody must be frantically looking for her. Sadly, we were wrong and it looks like poor Pandora was dumped.

Pandora is a lovely calico tabby, about four or five years old, with green eyes. She was not too friendly at first, very defensive and maybe just scared. She has warmed up considerably and is starting to get used to her new surroundings, and enjoys being patted. Perhaps the defensiveness is the result of being declawed. We are trying to earn her trust. We haven’t put her with other cats yet. She may prefer to be the sole princess of her domain. Come on over and ask to see her!!

And, please, never declaw your cats.
