My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper is a male, cream-colored Pomeranian. He is 5 years old and weighs around 14 pounds. He is house and crate trained, neutered, current on all shots, heart worm negative and he has a micro chip.

Cooper is one cool guy! His personality is very laid back and sweet. Need a napping buddy? Look no further than this precious puffball! He loves being cuddled, held, snuggled, kissed, and pet.

When Cooper isn’t being lazy on the couch, he loves to play outside and talk to all his friends (neighboring dogs and squirrels). That being said, Cooper would not do very well in an apartment setting due to his barking. If you live in a house with a big yard for him to play in, that would be perfect! Cooper would also do well with other dogs, as he has a docile personality and gets along with any dog he meets. We are unsure about cats, but they do not seem to bother him. As far as children go, we would recommend that Cooper live with older human siblings (middle school or high school age), as he tends to play rough.

During the day, Cooper does well in the crate while his foster parents are at work. He has also proven trusting enough to be left out for short periods of time (he is always found in the same place…asleep on a pillow). At bedtime, he can be crated, but if you were to ask him, he’d tell you he would much rather sleep out of the crate so he can curl up in a spot near you and keep a watchful eye as you sleep.

The only real requirement Cooper has is that you give him tons of love and never get tired of snuggles! He is one special guy, and would be a great addition to your family!
