Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*** Our Sammy has developed a health issue common to his breed and is not adoptable at this time. Sammy is comfortable, content and much loved by his devoted foster family.***
DOB 8-03
Big Sammy / Doberman Pincher
Sammy¢s one desire is to not be alone. He loves human companionship and is crazy about the lady dogs in his foster home. He is an excellent runner but would be just as happy to walk politely by your side. Sammy is very well socialized and has lovely manners both in and outside the home. At five years of age he is settled, none destructive and eager to please.
Because Sammy does not care for commotion (unless of course he is the one causing it) he would do best in an adult home. He would be ecstatic to have a female canine companion or two to play tag with and to assist him in the war against the squirrels. Sammy is a big boy and weighs about 90lbs and as is common with fawns his coat is a bit thin. He has a nice crop, is heartworm negative, house and crate trained and ready to find his very own people to love.
We require a good reference from your vet and a home visit before placing Sammy. Previous Dober experience preferred and Sammy can only be placed within a hours drive of Houston. Please contact doberdiva2003@yahoo.com and tell her about your family, other pets and hours away from home each day.
If you would like more information about one of the dogs featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day.
Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs.
