Pocket just couldn't be any cuter. Pocket and 6 other kittens were rescued from a colony situation where they were living in pretty rough conditions. Even when she wasn't feeling so well, Pocket had a sparkle in her eye - and yes, she was so small she could fit right in my pocket. In just a couple of weeks, Pocket has turned into a little purr machine who loves to play with her special friends Cocoa and Samantha. One of her favorite things is to sit on my lap and be brushed with a soft toothbrush - it mimics the feel of the momma cat's tongue. Wouldn't you like to be part of this little kitten's happy for ever after story?
We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50.
Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
