My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sequoia von Hariton is a 1-2 year old beautiful, well-mannered, sweet-natured, medium size (61 pounds) sable German Shepherd. After raising 7 puppies, she is all done with her mommy duties and cannot wait to find a forever home of her own. She is great with both big and small dogs - she loves to play with other dogs and would love to have another playful dog in her home. She follows the lead of the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys the doggie interaction. As much as she loves affection, she is not "an attention hog" and lets all the dogs in the home get equal affection. She is not toy or food aggressive - any of the dogs or people in her foster home can take both away without any issues. With her gentle nature, she is wonderful with the cats in her foster home (she even lets the cats eat from her bowl while she is eating!). Despite being able to chase a ball for as long as you will throw it, she is just as happy laying at your feet while you work or next to you while you watch tv or read. But she will come up to you from time to time and give you a little nudge with her nose and if you look at her, a big kiss will follow! She is a smart, obedient girl who responds quickly to correction, walks well on a leash and knows how to sit before getting food or treats. She never begs at the table for food even though she loves food as much as she loves her ball! Sequoia absolutely loves her humans but takes a little longer (a couple of days) for her to warm up to men. Once she does, she is as loyal and loving as can be! She an unassuming girl who prefers a calmer, adult home without a lot of visitors and no kids. Sequoia has so much love to give. Will you make her part of your pack?
