My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable little girl is approx 1 year old and 19 lbs. She looks like she may be a schnauzer mix maybe with some Doxie or basset. She has a long body and shorter legs. She is very timid and shy until she gets to know you and then likes to come and sit at your feet and on your lap if she can jump up on you. She seems to be quite well house trained and does ok on leash. She has a really sweet personality and curls up on her doggie bed with her buddies. She gets along well with the other dogs, but would do well with quieter dogs, but she does like to run and play with her buddies and just needs some time to settle in to a new home.

The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
