My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 11/28/08: Puddin' is an adorable little 3 y/o (revised age) 5# girlie and is the daughter of Dutchess (see above). They are being fostered in West Palm Beach, FL. Puddin' and Dutchess are very bonded and must be adopted together.

Puddin' and Duchess are making strides everyday! They recently went to the vet, and he only had good news for the most part. Puddin's teeth are pretty clean, so she does not need a dental. The girls are no longer shaking and huddling together, but are coming out on their own to explore. They are being taken upstairs daily where everyone piles on the bed and gets comfortable. Puddin' needs to gain a bit of weight; she seems to be affected by the recent cold snap recently, so she is now donning a pretty pink sweater, which she isn't so sure whether she likes it or not. She is very quiet, but she will let you know when she is hungry and will bark until she is fed. She loves to play and loves all the new toys being given to her, whether it's a squeaky toy or a mouse meant for the cats, she isn't fussy about her toys! She is also friends with the other dogs in the house, and likes to investigate the cats. Please consider adopting this mother/daughter duo - they are so deserving of a forever home where they will be cherished as a loving companion dogs. PLEASE NOTE! Because of their size, Puddin' and Dutchess can only go into an adult home.

Initial Bio 11/06/08: Meet Puddin' - she is an adorable little 4 y/o 5# girlie and is the daughter of Dutchess (see above). Puddin is the yorkie on the left in the picture. Puddin' and Dutchess are very bonded and must be adopted together. They came into rescue because their owner died and the family didn't want them. They have not received any vetting or grooming in a very long time and were extremely matted; the groomer did her best to shave them down, leaving them with a little choppy haircuts, but they will once again have beautiful coats in no time. Sadly, these two little girls spend their time huddled on the bed in their room...... shaking.......it's so sad! They have been in their foster home for 2 weeks, and have some made progress. Puddin', the less timid of the two, comes out to greet Foster Mom when she returns home, and is beginning to hang out in the kitchen when food is being prepared. They will go outside to potty if they are both carried out and put on the ground, but don't know how to ask to go out, or are too frightened to go out, therefore they are having accidents inside. Foster Mom will be working on that. Puddin' will also likely lose a lot of teeth during her dental. Her tongue sticks out just like her mom's - too cute! Both girls get along with the two male yorkies in the house and engage in a little bit of play, and have just a passing interest in the cats. Please consider adopting this mother/daughter duo - they are so deserving of a forever home where they will be cherished as a loving companion dogs.
