My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Description: Lola is a 5-6-year-old Bichon Frise, Havanese/Terrier mix. She weighs around 15 lbs. She is white in color and has silky, non-shedding hair like a Havanese.
Lola is a happy, loving dog that will make someone a great companion. She is a very sweet dog and gets along with both men and women. Lola was severely matted, so she needed to be shaved, but she will be beautiful again in no time. She looks like a little lamb at the moment! Her fur is so super soft and silky. She has done really well in foster with other dogs. She can be afraid of large dogs, but she adjusts. She appears to be house-trained and has some basic training skills. She's very smart and likes to be with people. She is good on the leash and likes to go for walks.

Needs: She would be fine with either a male or female owner. We believe she had an owner and more than likely became lost before ending up in a kill shelter. She likes being with people. She will make a loving and loyal pet. She can get startled easily, so she will need a gentle owner who will be kind. We have not tested her around kids, but feel she would be ok around teenagers. She will test boundaries, so she will need an experienced owner.

Fee: $395. It includes spay, heartworm test, vaccinations including rabies, health certificate, flea treatment, microchip, teeth cleaning and transportation from CA to WA. Lola is in Seattle now.

Process: All interested parties will be asked to fill out an application. One can be found on our website: WWW.littleblessingsrescue.vpweb.com. We can send you one as well. We make decisions based on a dog's needs, so basically we are matchmakers. Not all dogs need the same thing. We also do home visits, so far distances from Seattle and out of state adoptions won't be doable. Emails over phone calls are appreciated. We just don't have the time to answer every call.
