My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Merlyn and I am a new member to the WRNT family. I was found as a stray and taken to a local animal control facility. I had wounds on my neck, perhaps from a dog bite, so the shelter contacted WRNT about me because they knew I would get the medical attention I needed. WRNT took me to the vet for a thorough going over! My wounds are almost healed and I'll be up for adoption soon. My foster family says I have to have my "little boy" surgery first though. I'm not sure what that is but it doesn't sound like I'm going to like it!
I'm about three years old, very friendly and affectionate, and love playing with my four legged foster brother and sisters. I like to stay busy so I'd love an active family with lots of time to take me out and about.
If you'd be interested in applying to be my forever family please fill out an application. I'd love to meet you!

***HAPPY TAILS ALERT***
Hi everyone!
Merlyn here with great news, I've been adopted! I first met my new Moms when they found me by the side of the road one Sunday morning. I had been injured with a bite on my neck. My Moms, Teresa and Deborah took me to a local shelter for treatment and to see if my owners were looking for me. I stayed there a few days, but no one came for me. The shelter called WRNT and asked them if they could take me so I could get much needed veterinary care.
Since no one came to claim me,,my Moms went to the shelter to adopt me, but WRNT had already picked me up. The shelter got them in touch with WRNT and after a month in foster care I was happy and healthy and ready to be adopted.
They put their application in, and WRNT did their vetting process and of course my Moms passed with flying colors!
I have a wonderful new life now filled with love, attention, caring and some very large cats that I'm slowly getting used to! Thanks to my Moms, Teresa and Deborah for saving me not once, but twice!
Westie hugs and Kisses everyone, I am off for some play time!
Merlyn
