BJ's Story...
Hi! My name is BJ and I'm a 2-year-old, neutered, Australian Cattle Dog mix hoping to find a home of my own. I'm a well mannered 45-pound pup who gets along well with other dogs but is not a fan of cats. I'm fully house & crate trained, so I'm quite the catch.

My foster momma says that I'm a low-medium energy boy. My ideal day is to wake up for some nice sun bathing, playing with dogs, getting some neck rubs and then back to sleep again. Another thing that makes me happy is the sounds of my humans singing my praises - I can't hear the words "you're such a good boy" enough!

If you'd be interested in adopting me, please go to TLCrescuePA.com/adopt to learn how to make me yours

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BJ, a Kimberton Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Kimberton, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Kimberton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kimberton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kimberton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kimberton paves the way for another one to be saved.
