Bishop's Story...
Meet Bishop!
Bishop came into the shelter as a stray and will be available to adopt on July 7th. Bishop is very timid, and acts very scared while he is in his cage. Once you get him out of the cage, he is very sweet and has a VERY calm temperament. Bishop is expected to be around 4-7 years of age. He has beautiful eyes! It is unknown if he was up to date on vaccines, or neutered due to the fact that he was a stray. Come meet Bishop today! He enjoys getting out of the cage and walking some, especially because he is so big!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bishop, a Taylor German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Taylor, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog from a breeder in Taylor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Taylor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Taylor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Taylor paves the way for another one to be saved.
