Look at that smile!! Dustin is always happy and always ready to please. Dustin is approximately 5-7 year-old Mini-Schnauzer. He weighs about 13lbs. He is so loving and fun you will never be sad when he is around. He is great with other dogs and has been fine with our kitten. He loves both men and women and LOVES children. Dustin can be playful but also likes to snuggle. The best of both worlds.

Because he was not cared for the way he should have been his teeth are in bad shape but he will be getting a dental so they will be clean and bright. He is also heartworm positive so will need to go through treatment. Tired Dog Rescue will pay for his treatment but he will need a quiet home to stay during the treatment. He must remain calm and quiet so a home with lots of activity will not work.

You can foster him during his treatment and once the last treatment is done you can sign the adoption papers.

This guy is a gem and the family who adopts him will NOT be disappointed.

Dustin’s fee will be 250.00 and that includes his vaccinations, heartworm and fecal test, neuter, dental, heartworm treatment and microchip.

About Tired Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

After my husband and I purchased (before we realized where the dogs in the pet stores come from) a Cocker Spaniel we fell in love with the breed.

We joined a forum called Zims and they have a rescue section. We agreed to help one in our area and that was it, we were hooked. We LOVE dogs! We wish that we could help more than we do and hopefully someday we will expand and be able to do much more in our community to rescue and train dogs for placement and to educate the community about the importance of spay and neutering their pets and recruit more people to lend a hand.

Our Adoption Process...

Our fees range from 150.00 to 300.00 depending on the age of the dog. They must submit an application and if the application sounds good then a home visit will be set up. We are very strict about what we look for on the home visit. If app and home visit are approved then we bring the dog for a meet and greet. All dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and healthy before adoption. I do ask that the family update us frequently on the dog as we like to keep up with each and every pet we adopt out.
