My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

As the saying goes, never two without three. Earlier this year, we took in two visually impaired pups, Elsie and Grace, who were from the same litter but surrendered by two different families. A third has now come to our care, this one having been purchased at a pet store in the area where they were all from. Like her sisters, Stella’s predominant genes are those of a Great Dane, although we cannot be certain if she is a single breed or a mix. We are still evaluating her level of vision, which may not be 100%, but there is no doubt that she can certainly see. Stella was born around November 2016, and is a beautiful solid steel grey with light greenish eyes. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and gets along beautifully with all of them. Stella is friendly with everyone, playful, and clean in the house. She still has more growing to do and will likely mature to be an extra-large Dane-sized dog. Stella’s ideal family will have someone home at least part of the day, and a suburban or semi-rural home with a fenced yard will be preferred. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you can offer Stella a home for life. Stella will be at our next adoption day at Mon Ami in Kirkland on Saturday, July 8. Details and a link to a Google map can be found on our website.
