Hello....
My name is Cooper and I am a six year old boy Schnauzer who weighs about 18 pounds. I was purchased as a puppy at 8 weeks from a breeder to a wonderful family. My life was happy until they had children and all of a sudden, they forgot I was a family member too!
Realizing that it wasn't right that I was not given the attention that I needed, they surrendered me to rescue.
I am living in Cincinnati in a foster home with five other rescues. I was already neutered and u-t-d on all of my shots. My foster mom took me for a physical and to have my pearlies cleaned. Also, they put a microchip in so that I can never get lost.
I love to run in my new back yard and am so happy they have a physical fence which is what I need for my forever home. When I see a leash or hear the keys, I am ready for a road trip as well. In my photos you can see I also love toys....especially the squeak ones.
No thundershirts needed for me....I am not afraid of thunderstorms or fireworks. I know steps and also understand basic dog commands thanks to my former owners. I would like a forever home with kids older than ten that know how to respect and love a dog please.
If you would like to know more about me, please fill out an application and we will be in contact with you. My fee is only $275.
Thanks for reading my story and I cant wait to hear from you.
Cooper is fostered by Shirley.
