My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update: Sandy has been spayed and is doing great. Sandy is now at a healthy weight and has a lot of love to give. This lovely lady is working on her leash walking and definitely has her Sit down-pat when you have a treat in hand and usually can manage Down. Sandy is a super smart lady who loves to run around out in her fenced in yard and is loving life. Sandy will need a home who wants an active dog. She has regained a lot of her energy and is loving life to the fullest. Sandy doesn't quite realize how big she is and may not be suitable for a home with delicate children as she may knock them over in her exuberance to kiss them. Sandy is doing great with all of her male dog friends and loves to wrestle and play with toys with them. Do you want a hiking buddy or a running partner? Then this is your pup! ******************************************** Sandy is our people loving Lab mix who wants a home to love her at all times and take her for hikes in the woods. At about 1.5 years old, Sandy is a love bug with her people who sometimes thinks she is a lap dog. This lovable lady likes to play with balls, rubber toys, and rope toys and will gladly roll on her back so that you can scratch her tummy. Sandy is also very happy to stretch out at your feet and snore the afternoon away. Sandy can not go to a home with cats and does well with most dogs when introduced properly though she does not do well with aggressive or pushy/dominant dogs (especially females). Sandy is super smart with a lot of energy and would do fantastic with some obedience training a lot of love. Are you looking for an all around happy dog to spend your time with? If so this may be your dog. Note: Please fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you within 1-2 business days. We do not have a central office facility, all of our pets are housed in foster homes until they are adopted. Your first step in adopting a furry friend is to go to our website www.rainbowrescues.org and fill out an application. At this time, adoption fees for dogs are $175.April 26, 2024, 6:44 am
