Heidi's Story...
Heidi is our very goofy 5 year old who will be happy to have you scratch her behind while she rolls over on the floor. Heidi was rescued from a breeder who kept her caged outside all the time. Heidi is loving her new foster home inside and is soaking up the attention and her comfy dog bed. Our lovely girl would do best in a home that has no other dogs or low key dogs who will not get into her face. Heidi does okay with dogs when introduced very slowly and allowed to adjust. Our lovable Beagle definitely has a gorgeous voice that she loves to serenade you with when she is unhappy. If you are looking for a Beautiful Beagle, then this is your girl. Note: Please fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you within 1-2 business days. We do not have a central office facility, all of our pets are housed in foster homes until they are adopted. Your first step in adopting a furry friend is to go to our website www.rainbowrescues.org and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heidi, a Chicopee Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Chicopee, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Chicopee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicopee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicopee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicopee paves the way for another one to be saved.
