IKE's Story...
male Bichon Frise neutered senior

Ike is our senior Bishon Frise boy. He is neutered and current on all his shots. Ike would prefer for you to sit with him and tell him how handsome he is. He will definately blossom into a flower. He loves his people. He gets along with other dogs and if you have a cat we can certainly test him with cats. We suggest no children for Ike since he is at that age where he doesnt really want anyone in his personal space. Ike would do well with a working couple or a senior couple or a single person too. He is a loving boy but needs time to settle in. Ike will need work on his potty training habits and a belly band is suggested and used by his foster mom to get the marking to stop in the home. It works like a charm! If you are a patient person looking for a loving boy to have in your life, you might like IKE. Note: Please fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you within 1-2 business days. We do not have a central office facility, all of our pets are housed in foster homes until they are adopted. Your first step in adopting a furry friend is to go to our website and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

IKE, a Chicopee Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Chicopee, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Chicopee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicopee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicopee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicopee paves the way for another one to be saved.
