Jaime's Story...
Jaime is a new sweetheart with us, having just come in from an animal shelter where she was brought in as a stray. She is a young, bright, happy girl with good social skills around people and other dogs once she overcomes a bit of initial shyness. We aren't sure how much training she has but she is smart and eager to please so we imagine she will take to training well. Jaime did have an abscess on her face when she showed up at the shelter so they had it addressed and drained at a local vet. She continues to heal with us at the rescue while she awaits her second chance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jaime, a Fillmore Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fillmore, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fillmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fillmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fillmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fillmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
