Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Paco is currently living in a foster home in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin.
My name is Paco! I am a tiny little dude weighing in at about 5.5 lbs. I am 3 years young. In Texas I was dumped at a park with three of my friends. Thankfully Lola's picked us all up and kept us safe.
I am a maltese type mix and don't shed. My foster mom says I am a velcro dog - because I love to be attached! I could literally cuddle all day long. I am content to be carried around too and love to sleep on the bed right next to my people. When I am not sitting on a lap I follow my foster family around inside and outside the house and when they wonder where I am - they just have to look near their feet, because I always stick very close. I am so smart that I just need to be told what to do and I will do it. I am potty trained to go outside and I also know to use potty pads inside as well.
I would be the perfect travel buddy since I am so tiny. I am crate trained. I like strangers after I get to sniff them for a second and then I am their best friend. I have not met any cats yet. I have met kids and they don't bother me. But, I am most trusting and responsive to people who are quiet and gentle with me, since I am such a tiny little peanut. I currently live in a house with several other dogs of all different sizes and I do very well with them socially.
I am a very loyal and loving little fellow with a huge heart. All I want is someone to love me back and keep me safe now that I have made it to Wisconsin. I am not demanding at all and am just happy to be near you.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
