Mr. Darcy's Story...
Mr Darcy is my name and being cute is my game! I am just over three months old and ready to find my forever home. I love to play, play, play! I also love to climb and run and chase my brother and sister. I get along well with everyone no matter their size. I love my people too. My foster mom says I am great little snuggler. I weigh just over 4 pounds so I will not be very big when I am grown. I am crate trained and my mom says I am doing excellent on my potty training. I have even learned to use the dog door! I do love to play outside and my favorite toy is anything I can chew on. I hope you like my pictures enough to come and meet me!

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the Adopt page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Darcy, a McKinney Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
