Zander's Story...
This sweet boy was left behind in an apartment after the tenants moved out. The landlord is a friend of ours and asked us to take him so he wouldn't have to go the pound Of course we took him He is the sweetest boy. Very polite and gentle which in inherent to the breed. He loves to run and play with all the others here and loves his chewy time as you can see in the video! And true to the breed, he loves his swimming pool! The vet estimated his birthday to be 10/25/16. Still a baby! He is neutered, crate trained, micro-chipped, up to date on all of his shots and he's ready for transport. Wouldn't you love this gorgeous pup in your home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zander, a Greenwich Flat-Coated Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Greenwich, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever puppy from a breeder in Greenwich.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenwich already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenwich breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenwich paves the way for another one to be saved.
