Spot's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Spot's Story...
Spot is precious with her half black and half pink nose! She has a subtle white stripe down her face as well, making her quite unique! She is a love bug and enjoys spending time with her sisters, Charlotte and Sally, who are also still available. Spot would do best in a home with another kitty play friend, or would love to spend forever with one of her sisters! She is fostered in Athens, AL, is felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped! She will be ready for her forever home after July 17 and her adoption fee is $75. You can fill out an application at www.forrescue.net!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spot, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
