Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lando is a 1.5 year old boxer mix who weighs about 60 pounds. His favorite things are snuggling and being chased. He is 100% house- and crate-trained. He catches on to new routines easily. He knows to sit near a door to request going outside for a potty break. Lando is very quiet in the apartment and only barks to alert of people near the door or when he is playing. Lando is full of energy and loves to explore! He would love a home where he has room to run and sniff. He most likely has some hound in him because he will happily follow any trail with his nose.
Lando has a strong desire to please, knows basic commands (sit, down, stay) and knows how to walk nicely on a leash. However, Lando is very strong, so he is currently walked with a prong collar. Lando has some fears and anxiety. Lando is curious about the world around him, but unfamiliar objects and people often frighten him. He is especially wary of unknown men or unknown large dogs. He does best when introduced to new things slowly and while he is off-leash.
Lando currently lives in an apartment, and there simply isn't enough room for him to get out all of the energy he needs to expend. Lando would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard. He would also do best with an experienced owner who has the time and energy to do further training with Lando due to his reactive nature. If you have any questions about Lando or would like to meet him please email Lindsay at lindsay.freeland@gmail.com.
