This sweet girl cocker has had her heartworm treatment and is now ready to find her forever home. She will be a wonderful, calm new best friend for you to adopt and love. I am in a foster home and doing well.
My name is Maisy. I am a petite reddish buff cocker spaniel girl about 10 years old. I was found as a stray by NC Animal Control. No owner came to claim me so the shelter asked for rescue help because I tested as heartworm positive and needed treatment to get me well.
I am a real sweetheart, heartworm negative and somewhat active, but calm with a great personality. I will do well in a calm home environment. At my initial vet evaluation they found that I had skin issues due to dermatitis, a tumor in my ear, a cataract, some rotten teeth that needed to come out and I am now spayed. I have completed heartworm treatment and I had a good recovery time. I will be a wonderful companion for someone to love. Maybe I can be your sweet baby girl and spend lots of quality time with you as your indoor doggie. I would love to be spoiled, share a great life with you and just be your sweet, friendly baby girl. Adopt me, love me and I will make you happy to have me as your new best friend and a really sweet companion to love. Please don't let my age keep you from adopting me. I am healthy and doing well. I will be a great companion.
