Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Bianca is looking for a home. This beauty became homeless when her owner passed away about 7 weeks ago.
I got an email from the apartment manager over at the Chardon Hills Apartments on wilson mills road in Chardon
She told me that her owner had died in the apartment 2 weeks prior before anybody knew about it and that they cat was in need of help. I told them to try Rescue Village but they are closed on Wednesdays. I am full house but my heart went out to this poor cat. I authorized them to take the cat to my veterinarian and asked if the owner of the apartments could make a donation to my rescue to help me with the vet bills.
Bianca was so badly matted that she had to be shaved from her hips back. She went through a couple weeks of the grieving process once I brought her home. Everything from angry at the world, to not wanting to eat, to sad...
I finally gained her trust and she has blossomed into the beautiful cat that she is in this picture. The apartment manager never made good on any donation to my rescue.
Bianca is about 5 years old, spayed, vaccinated and has tested negative for leukemia/FIV.
She is living with other cats but would be happiest as the only cat, or maybe just one other cat. She also seems fine with dogs.
