Peaches's Story...
Peaches is approximately 9 months old (June 2017) and is a mixed terrier. She has the cutest underbite and beautiful doe eyes.
She was dumped by her owner along with her 4 puppies, Tilly, Sassy, Kiwi and Mango. She is protective of her puppies but does share them with her foster mama. She is shy but very sweet, loves attention including receiving chest and belly rubs.
Her foster is working with her on her potty training and she is doing good with that. Her puppies are teaching her how to play and their favorite toy is an empty box! She is just figuring out what a joy toys are because her previous life probably did not include much affection or toy playing. Peaches is also learning to enjoy walking on a leash.
She would be so grateful to have a home of her own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Hawthorne Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Hawthorne, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Hawthorne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hawthorne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hawthorne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hawthorne paves the way for another one to be saved.
