My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is a five year old, 65 pound, black, spayed female lab. She and her sister came to us because her owner died. The girls lived inside and in the backyard. They are very affectionate when they get to know you. I think their lives were good but limited in exposure so they act timid and cling to me. Gracie is short haired. Both girls are housebroken, don't destroy anything, don't get on the furniture. They are really patient. They would like to chase my cat but she won't run so they leave her alone. They are submissive to my shepherd and terrier dogs. I don't know about children but if someone wants to come spend some time here with children we can see. They are not aggressive or pushy except for petting when I sit down. I think they may do okay separate with the right families. They can also go as a pair. I'm willing to spend as much time with adopters for these girls as necessary. I will continue to expose them to lots of people and dog visitors to build their confidence as well as walks along the wash.
