Go Big or Go Home! Let me introduce myself. As an American Staffordshire Terrier, I am a classic for my breed. I present myself as a big protector. That's how I got my name. In truth, I am a young, happy boy who just wants love and snuggles.

Lucky for me, I was rescued by Power of the Paw, and I am learning manners and obedience while in foster care.

I love spending time romping and playing with my fur sis and my foster family. If I’m left alone outside, I get bored easily. I really want to be with you instead. When hanging out in the house, I keep everyone entertained with my Mr. Big antics. I have a way with the ladies and I cause hearts to swoon. I understand that not every moment is meant for my kisses and loves, so I am happy to spend necessary time in the crate if you must go do that job thing. Potty training while in foster care has gone smashingly well too, so no worries. When you send me to the door from my crate, I know to go outside and take care of business.

My foster mom is smitten with me, and has spent a great amount of time helping me learn this thing you call heel. Of course I nailed it because I’m smart. Sit is simple too. Down and stay are silly to me but I keep trying because she loves it when I do.

My outlook on life is, you guessed it, BIG! I need to find a home with no cats, small children, or pesky, small dogs.  I like my food, so for now, I ask that I get fed in my crate, away from others. Someone with time to keep working on obedience with me is a must. Continued training will help me live up to my BIG potential. My life ahead is full of possibility, adventure and fun! Would you care to join me? Go to www.powerofthepaw.org and fill out the adoption application. ADOPTION FEE: $250 includes neuter, DAPP, Rabies, Bordetella, Microchip, Revolution and vet check.
