Spike is a teddy bear! He loves attention from people. Spike was tossed out of a car into someone's yard. He still thinks he is a puppy, but is so gentle. He's around 1.5 years old and 47 lbs. He loves to swim, is great on leash and super smart. He is eager to please his people and will learn his house manners very quickly. He would most likely do best as an only dog, but with the love he has to give, you won't need another dog. He deserves a great family!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Double Event Weekend! First, CPR will be at PetLand in Southbury, CT on Friday, March 30th from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at PetValu, Copps Hill Plaza, 125 Danbury Road #6 in Ridgefield, CT on Saturday, March 31st from 10am-2pm. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
