My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cinder(f) 10lb, 5 yrs old Toy Poodle Adoption fee $350.
Cinder  is very sweet and loves attention.  She has had a lot of work done lately and is just  getting ready for beautification. She spent 10 days in the medical unit at  was spayed, given a dental, and treated for foxtails (right eye).  Currently she is having a bad hair day,   some ear and skin issues. We expect that she will get only more beautiful when she goes home with you and grows more fur.  We don't know Cinder's parentage, but her docked tail, lack of dewclaws and square build  all point to pure bred toy poodle.

Cinder has been a very agreeable in the time we have had her. She gets along with everyone, including sexy teenage dogs and a variety of cats.  She ignored her foster's cats, and let an almost-grown kitten come up and sniff her nose without reacting.   We haven't heard her bark at anyone.

She may be ok with older children.  She would love to be with someone who would give her lots of attention—she eats it up, and loves laps and sleeping with you.  When she feels better she may also like walks—she has the poodle long legs, and could probably walk very well.  She never made a mess in my house, so is pretty much house broken.  She  know some commands, as she pays attention to what is said to the other dogs, and on a few occasions sat.

Cinder has some allergies. so she will need medicated baths every week or two for the rest of her life.  She also has  dry eye. We expect that she will need medications twice a day, eye ointment and genteal.

Dogs are vaccinated, microchipped  and spayed/neutered before adoption.
The necessary first step to inquire about any dog, is to complete the NCPR Adoption Interest Form. Once we receive the NCPR Adoption Interest Form, a volunteer will contact you promptly. We need your information to match you with the perfect companion. NorCal Poodle Rescue places dogs within northern California only.
