Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dottie, Missy, Buddy, and Whiskers all arrived after their owner died without having any sort of pet plan in place. They all get along with each other fine and are sharing a room right now, but none need to be adopted together.
Dottie is a sweet and mellow girl, about 7 years old. Since arriving at the shelter, she has discovered the joy of Owning the Top Cat Perch, and on these hot hot hot days, she is nearly always found in her spot on the screened porch perch. Dottie enjoys melting into a liquid cat puddle on the porch rather than hanging out inside the air-conditioned cat room. Even in the video of her and her friends, she doesn't bother to get up from her perch for attention or for toys. Yes, I picked her up and put her down the other day just to prove she can walk - she gave me THE LOOK and promptly showed off her speed and dexterity by racing back up to the top perch. OK, fine.
If you have a cat perch that has an unclaimed top spot... Dottie is the girl for you. She had an indoor/outdoor lifestyle at her prior home, but says she would be fine staying indoors all the time if she had a perch by every window.
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Dottie is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
