To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.
Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says pending home then they are not available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads here.
There is an adoption fee of $300 for this dog.
Speezy is a very beefy boy or a true standard with the brains and charm to match. Speezy is 35 pounds so a large standard.
There is nothing "wrong" with him. He was not doing well with toddler children in the home which is very typical for this breed. Here he is sweet, charming, happy and having a ball. I am sure folks will overlook him due to his size but they will never know just how wonderful standard dachshunds are in life. They are our favorite size of dachshunds as all of them are wonderful dogs we have found.
He got his name after a horse named Lord Speezy in the Olympics. How cool is that? Speezy knows his name very well.
This is an amazingly well trained and housebroke dog who loves people except the very short folks or toddlers. If you want an easy, happy boy in your home then here is the one. He is the kindest dog we have rescued in quite some time. He loves all dogs but did bark at the kitties or a typical dachshund,
