Meet Lily!
Lily is a 2-3 year old Hound/Rottweiler mix girl who just loves people!
This high energy girl is looking for someone to teach her the finer points of "how to dog" like a lady - because right now she pulls on a leash like a Mack truck! But she's bouncy and fun and eager to learn, so she's sure to bring smiles along the way!
Lily really likes some dogs and plays great with them, but she's choosy about her doggie companions. If you have an existing dog, a meet and greet would be needed to see if the chemistry is right between them.
We think that Lily would do best in a home without small animals (like cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.). She seems to want to eat them. She does love all people, but we recommend a home without small children just because she's so bouncy and high energy, she may accidentally knock the little ones flying. And no one wants flying children. If anyone should get the power of flight, it should be an adult who has a solid background in comic books and understands that with great power, comes great responsibilities.
Oh hey - Lily appears to be house trained! She keeps a clean kennel, bless her.

Lily has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested neg. for heartworm which is included in the $50 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this dog, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)
