Chester's Story...
Hello, this is Chester a 3 month old rat terrier/beagle mix. He was a owner surrender due to his previous owner going through some personal problems, they did not want to put Chester and his mom through any longer. Chester is a sweetheart that loves everyone! He has the most beautiful green eyes, we've ever seen that will melt your heart as soon as you see them. We're expecting him to be around 10-12lbs full grown. He's almost house trained and will go potty on a potty pad. He would be the perfect addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a Coats Rat Terrier/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Beagle for sale in Coats, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Coats.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coats already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coats breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coats paves the way for another one to be saved.
