My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ranger! We just can't understand why this handsome guy hasn't been made a part of someone's family yet because he is quite literally, the perfect dog!

Despite a rough start in life, Ranger is a happy, affectionate guy and loves everyone he meets! He will run up to greet you with his whole body wagging. He is a laid back, ‘go with the flow’ kind of guy who is up for lounging around or playtime- whatever you’re in the mood for. He is very smart- so far, he has learned sit, stay and shake and also walks well on a leash. For a treat, he will go into his crate and once he’s there he is content and quiet. He shows no aggression and would be fine in a home with men, women, and children (he really loves kids!). He is a bigger boy so older kids would be better. Ranger especially loves having other dogs around to play with so he would really shine in a home with other dogs. He is ready for his forever home and is going to make a great best friend for someone! Oh, and did we mention, he also likes cats!!!

We believe Ranger is approximately one year old. He is such a beautiful boy but his breed is a bit of a mystery to us. He could possibly have some Plott Hound or Mountain Cur mixed in. Whatever he is, he is gorgeous!

Ranger's adoption fee is $175. This includes his DHPP and Rabies vaccines, deworming, heartworm test and preventive (through date of adoption), flea and tick preventive (through date of adoption), neuter, and microchip.
