Shiner's Story...
Introducing Shiner.

Shiner joins us from a foxhole in Mississippi. Yes, you read that correctly, Shiner and siblings were found hiding in a foxhole. How pitiful is it that these sweet and vulnerable puppies sought shelter in a place that could have been so dangerous for them? Such is the sad life that many dogs and puppies live. Luckily for this 6 pack of puppies (3 of which joined our rescue, the other 3 joined another local rescue), Shiner is now living a wonderful life with a loving foster and siblings Sam and Stella.

Their foster reports Sam, Stella and Shiner to all be very loving puppies, but with their own unique personalities. Shiner is Mr. laid back, Sam is Mr. friendly and sweet Stella is the smallest of the 3 and loves to cuddle. We are so thrilled they have the most loving foster family and look forward to finding their perfect forever homes. Shiner's adoption fee is $500 and will cover the cost of his neuter surgery, up to date vaccinations, deworming, microchip, heartworm preventative, deworming, health certificate and transportation from Memphis to your area upon adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiner, a Rochester Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
