ECHO's Story...
These little “Low Riders” (littermates Evita and Echo) are simply precious. They are good natured, happy and sweet puppies. They have also had quite a bit of hands on attention from their previous family, which included two children, so they love people. His mother was a tan short haired Terrier/Dachshund (Low Rider) mix with the ice blue eyes and Dad was a black/white Lab mix. I had a previous litter from this same Mama and Daddy dog last summer. They were super puppies and they went/adopted like hotcakes. This sweetie is sure to bring about a lot of fun to some lucky family. He was born 1/2/17 making him six months old and weighing 24 pounds at the time of this posting (7/3/17). He has been neutered, fecal tested, microchipped and is current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Echo is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and his fee does include transportation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ECHO, a Newburgh Dachshund/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Labrador Retriever for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Dachshund/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dachshund/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
