Marilyn's Story...
Hi everyone, my name is Marilyn! I am a very happy gal looking for my new forever home! I love going out on walks, playing with my toys and relaxing in the office at the shelter. I would love a quiet new home where I can have all of the love! I would do best in a home with older adults and no small children, as I do not like to share my toys! Do you think I would fit into your heart and home? Please give me a chance, I think you will fall in love! I am a Lab Mix, around 2-4 yrs old, current on my vaccinations, SNAP 4Dx tested- LYME + / Negative x3, I will be spayed and micro-chipped before I go home!

*Marilyn is Lyme Disease +, please do research on Lyme Disease before deciding to adopt. Thank you!*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marilyn, a New Castle Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New Castle, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in New Castle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Castle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Castle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Castle paves the way for another one to be saved.
