My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Misty! I'm a Black & White Cocker Spaniel, and I'm about 4 years old.

I love going for walks, but also love cuddling! I'm a real lapdog - I love sitting in your lap on the couch, and if you let me, I'll sleep cuddled up with you! I love people! I really loved going for a swim at the beach! I dove right in and swam around!

I grew up with an elderly couple, and I didn't have any brothers or sisters. Being around the other dogs in my Foster home doesn't bother me, but I don't like to play with them - I'm fine if they just ignore me. I would much rather have you all to myself!

It's taken me a while to adjust to my Mom's passing and being dumped at a Shelter. I still get afraid that someone will hurt me sometimes, but I'm trusting my Foster family more every day. They have a teenage boy, and he's my buddy.

I'm in generally very good health, but I do have some allergies, which is very common in Cocker Spaniels. You'll have to keep my ears clean too - we're prone to ear infections.

For my perfect home, I would like to be your only pet so I get all of your love. I haven't been around small children, so I would prefer a home without small kids. I'm a great watchdog, and love to sit where I can see out the window and let you know when someone approaches the house. I like to play fetch, and plush squeeky toys, and generally entertain myself.
